Hi bloggers! I am new to the blogging world, so bear with me. I am a 25 year old student at one of the many private universities in Texas. I know 25 sounds old for a student but I have been trying to juggle a job, school, and family all at the same time, so it's taking a while. For as long as I can remember my ultimate goal in life was to be a school teacher. In fact just a few days ago I found a project I worked on in third grade where I was telling everybody how much I couldn't wait to grow up and become a high school teacher. Things have changed a little bit over time. I don't, and I mean I don't want to teach high school. If I had my choice I would teach kindergarten and kindergarten alone. You may wonder how I knew from such an early age that I wanted to become a teacher. Well, it's all about family. I have a wonderful Christian family who is very supportive of everything I do. My parents raised me in a Christian home and church. So, growing up I was in church every time the doors were open. I spent alot of time in G.A.'s, Vacation Bible School, youth group, church camp, and now in my adult life I reside in the church nursery. Outside of church I was a baby sitter. In fact people around my town called me the baby sitting queen. One of the famililes I baby sat for was the Superintendant of our school. As you can tell I have been around children for a long time and I love every minute of it. I feel I have been called by God to show my love through teaching young children. I always say catch them while they're young, so they won't talk back.
